Get Motivated and Power Through Workouts with Group Fitness Classes
You are one smart health club member! As part of your HealthQuest membership you are entitled to as many group fitness classes as you wish. Yoga, Dance, Martial Arts, Pilates, and fitness cycling are all included! You can even access HealthQuest’s Les Mills fitness programing as part of your membership.
The Les Mills program boasts class instructors that have “fallen in love with fitness” and are dedicated to be both educational and inspirational for class participants.
The Les Mills classes are build from a basis in physical health science. Fitness classes are varied, so every few months, you’ll get a new workout. This helps battle workout plateau, and keeps workouts from getting boring.
The American College of Sports Medicine writes that Group Fitness classes provide “exposure to a social and fun environment, a safe and effectively designed workout, a consistent exercise schedule, an accountability factor for participating in exercise, and a workout that requires no prior exercise knowledge or experience.”
Motivation is a huge part of Group Fitness. While HealthQuest fosters a comfortable environment for members that have different levels of fitness, seeing others pushing through a workout can be highly motivating. Those who sweat together, lose together!
